Babble
Johnathan now babbles vowel-consonant combinations, “la-la-la” (with his tongue out and over his top lip as far as it will go) and is working on, “ba-ba-ba.” And pretty soon he’ll be saying, “Howabout the keys to the car?”

Ben and I agree that getting your fisrt tooth in must be a very strange and painfull process. Well, the painfull part is obvious, but how wierd it must be to have some seemingly foreign, obtrusive object force it’s way through the gum line in your soft mouth. That sucker is sharp, ya know. I can’t stick my fingers in there anymore and this poor kid has got to live with it growing inside his mouth. He sure has been making silly sounds and faces since it’s arrival. Tongue clicking and lip sucking… a handfull of funny little quirks to add to the dozens upon dozens of examples of how cute our baby boy is.
Today Johnathan cut his first tooth! He will be getting more practice with his sippy-cups now. Yay for teeth!
