Math
My brain is completely overflowing from my new math class. My last teacher was pretty bad… the new teacher is excellent but I’m completely unprepared! The half of the last class that managed to get through last quarter with me feel pretty much the same way as well. I’m really going to have to work hard to get through the next 11 weeks.
Believe it or not… this was one of the easier problems:
a4x4 + a4x2 + 5a4 + a2x4 + a2x2 + 5a2 + 5x4 + 5x2 + 25
Click below for the answer:
= (a4x4 + a4x2 + 5a4) + (a2x4 + a2x2 + 5a2) + (5x4 + 5x2 + 25)
= a4 (x4 + x2 + 5) + a2 (x4 + x2 + 5) + 5 (x4 + x2 + 5)
= (a4 + a2 + 5) (x4 + x2 + 5)
You can do it. You just have to be methodical, because 90% of those that take this class never use it again. It just teaches you how to approach a massive problem in methodical steps, and math is very pure in that it always works out when real numbers are plugged in. If it does not work, a little error is hidden somewhere.
Wow, that brings back memories. I think it’s more like 99% never use it again. Hang in there, you can do it.
