Pumpkin Party
My father has been boasting of his home grown pumpkin patch for some time now, and Aunt Jeannie planned a carving party for all the kiddies. It is a beautiful little patch with green little pumpkins-to-be, but day of the party there was no orange to be found. They decided to continue with the festivities anyway, and strategically placed store bought pumpkins all around. “Wow! The pumpkins grew!” Johnathan shouted when he looked outside. Never mind that the PLU stickers were still in place. It was a fun day, with lots of energy and good company!
Ah, wish we were there to celebrate the pumpkin harvesting. We hope to grow some veggies next year in our new graden. I filled the truck with manure (from my office buddies horses) and spread it out this weekend. Oh, the stink. And, I have too much, so moved most of it way back into the woods.

Hey, what adorable pictures. I too, wish I had been there. Well, better get some plans going before that Joshua is walking. Looks like everyone had a wonderful time. Sorry tho, that Eldon’s pic was not there, wanted to show him off to someone. Happy Halloween to All, and to All a good nite.
